Reactions and Comments for Personalized Video
Covideo now offers the reactions and comments feature for even better engagement on your personalized videos! Now, when you send a video to your contact, they will have the option of responding to your video with a variety of emoji reactions. Or, they can comment at any specific point in the video to provide feedback or ask questions.
Let’s check out how it works.
Using the reactions feature for personalized video
The reactions feature allows viewers to react to your personalized video with emojis. (Brandwatch reported that at least 95% of the Internet uses emojis, so this will be intuitive for most users!)
Though there are 3,633 emojis in the Unicode Standard, we’re keeping it simple with six options: thumbs up, thumbs down, laughing, heart eyes, clapping hands, and surprised/wow face. Your viewer can click reactions as the video plays to react to that exact point in the video. So, you can ask multiple questions or poll your viewers in a personalized video, and they can react to different parts.
Using the comments feature for personalized video
The comments button is present on videos below the reactions bar. Like with reactions, viewers can leave multiple comments on your personalized video, so they can share thoughts or questions at multiple parts. This is a unique way to promote two-way communication and reduce the back and forth salespeople often experience though emails or calls.
Analytics and troubleshooting for reactions and comments
In the Reports tab, you can check your analytics on a video to see the most popular reactions and exactly which contacts selected which reactions.
To enable reactions and comments as the default all your videos, go into your profile at the top right corner of the homepage. Then, go to Edit User Profile>Preferences. You will see a section called Reactions & Comments, where you can toggle this feature on and off.
You can also turn reactions and comments on and off for specific videos. Simply select the More Options button to the right of your video and toggle “enable reactions & comments” on or off.
