Covideo’s Biggest Mobile App Update Ever Is Live
You asked, and we listened! Covideo is excited to announce the latest and greatest update to our mobile app for Apple and Android devices. The update includes some of our most requested features like teleprompter, voiceover recording, and screen recording. Your mobile app experience will now almost exactly mirror the functionality of the desktop app you know and love.
How to Download Covideo’s Mobile App
As of June 21, 2023, the new mobile app is live! If you have an Apple device, head on over to the App Store to download or update to the new app. Android users can download or update on the Google Play Store.

Updates to your Covideo mobile app library
Covideo has created an all-new look for your mobile app video library to better organize and locate your videos that is more similar to the desktop app. When you log in, you’ll now see the video, files, and boards tabs at the top of the page.
You could already sort through your folders or use the search bar to look through your video titles and tags. Now, you can also toggle between list and thumbnail view, depending on which works for you.
You’ll also see a “plus” button at the top right corner of the app that allows you to upload photos and videos, upload files, merge files, create a board, write a new SMS message, or use WheelsTV, if applicable.
Your profile
From the Covideo app, you have many more options for editing your profile and managing users if you’re an admin. This includes changing your password, setting your preferences, editing your signature, and more. Keep in mind, you cannot edit or add images in your signature—head to the desktop app to change images.
For admins, you can see, edit, and manage all users in addition to creating new users. You can also see billing info, the number of users and seats available, and your activated add-ons.
Almost any edit to your profile or team is now possible from your phone!
Files and boards
Files and boards are now accessible in the Covideo mobile app!
Filter and sort your files based on file type, file name, and time uploaded or created. If you click the ellipses (…) on a specific file, you can view its details, share the URL, share via email, add to board, password protect, or delete.
You can also create new boards from the app. By clicking on the ellipses (…), you can view files inside the board, update or edit those files, share the board URL, share via email or SMS, or delete. You can set the privacy of your boards and upload or select a board thumbnail directly from the app.
Video editing and sharing
Covideo’s mobile app still supports all the great recording and editing features you’re used to, like the ability to send, share, download, delete, or rename videos. Now, you can also view the details of videos, move or copy, duplicate, and view analytics directly in the app. Analytics can show you a deep dive into hotspots, viewers, and CTA clicks.
Users can also record video voiceover directly in the app—one of our most requested features!
Additionally, you can trim, annotate, add captions, see reactions and comments, and change the appearance—like player color, button position, icons, and text color—of your video.
In the app, you can rename videos, add attributes, and enable video reply for individual videos. You can also change your video’s privacy with password protection.
Video recording
Covideo still allows recording with the front or back camera of your mobile device. However, Covideo’s app now also supports screen recording! As an added bonus, Apple users can record using the front and back camera at the same time, and Android users can record their screen and video at the same time.
While recording, you can also use a teleprompter or change the video quality for individual videos.
And more!
You have countless options for using videos uploaded from your native gallery or camera roll. When an upload is complete, you can add tags and edit your video directly in the app.
In reports, admins can see company-wide stats, and standard users can see their individual stats.
In contacts, you can add new or edit contacts, or create new or edit contact groups. You can also access a list of opt outs.
In the design section, you can add and edit website overlays for your landing pages, create new and edit existing CTAs, change social links, and preview or upload new thumbnails.
